Happy New Year from your friends at FireAvert! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season with your friends and family and that the new year and new decade are treating you well. As the new year has begun, we’ve been looking back at 2019 and looking forward to what 2020 holds in store, as we’re sure you are all doing, too. So, in the spirit of sharing, here is a review of the year behind us and what we have in store for the year ahead!
2019 was another exciting year for us—we really couldn’t have been more fortunate or more grateful about how the year turned out. At the beginning of 2019, after years of production work, we finally released FireAvert for Gas stoves, broadening FireAvert’s availability from just electric stoves to both gas stoves and microwaves as well. We also started our own professional installation team that installed units throughout Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Illinois, Michigan, Alabama, Louisiana, and more. By the end of the year, we had shipped and sold 40% more FireAverts than we did in 2018, and we ended the year finding out that over 200,000 apartments are now protected with FireAvert! But even better than those numbers were the dozens and dozens of success stories we received throughout the year of FireAvert preventing big fires far and wide. That’s what FireAvert was made for and that’s what means the most to us!
It seems like it’ll be tough to beat 2019 as we move forward into this new year, but we do have a couple reasons to bet that 2020 will be a year for the books, too! The first reason is that we are doubling the number of trade shows we will attend this year. We are excited to reach a bigger audience and interact with a wider range of people across the country! The second reason is that we’re projected to have another 40% jump in growth that’s already on the horizon, which should further push us to becoming the leader in kitchen fire prevention. And lastly, coming in Spring 2020, we are announcing a brand new product! Stay tuned in the next few months to see what we’ve been cooking up—it’s going to be good!
