Rental Cancellation & Return Policy

You can cancel your FireAvert subscription at any time, no questions asked.


How to Cancel Your Rental

Step 1) Email prosupport@fireavert.com stating your desire to cancel.

Step 2) FireAvert will suspend your account


Returning Rented Equipment

Now that you have cancelled:

  • You have 30 days from your cancellation date to return equipment.
  • We’ll email you a prepaid shipping label and return instructions. Hardware must be returned in working condition
  • Your membership will be deleted once the equipment is received.
  • If the equipment is not returned within 30 days, or is returned in non-working condition, then appropriate fees (per fee schedule below) will be applied and your membership will be deleted.


Return Requirements & Fee Schedule

Electric Device Returns must include:

  • FireAvert Auto Stove Shutoff device
  • MerryIoT Gateway Hub (and all associated cables/plugs)

Gas Device Returns must include:

  • FireAvert Auto Stove Shutoff device
  • Solenoid
  • All Tubes and connectors
  • MerryIoT Gateway Hub (and all associated cables/plugs)

Hardware Condition:

  • All equipment must be functional
  • Normal wear and tear is acceptable
  • Damaged/non-functional equipment may result in a fee (see below)
