Rental Cancellation & Return Policy
You can cancel your FireAvert subscription at any time, no questions asked.
How to Cancel Your Rental
Step 1) Email prosupport@fireavert.com stating your desire to cancel.
Step 2) FireAvert will suspend your account
Returning Rented Equipment
Now that you have cancelled:
- You have 30 days from your cancellation date to return equipment.
- We’ll email you a prepaid shipping label and return instructions. Hardware must be returned in working condition
- Your membership will be deleted once the equipment is received.
- If the equipment is not returned within 30 days, or is returned in non-working condition, then appropriate fees (per fee schedule below) will be applied and your membership will be deleted.
Return Requirements & Fee Schedule
Electric Device Returns must include:
- FireAvert Auto Stove Shutoff device
- MerryIoT Gateway Hub (and all associated cables/plugs)
Gas Device Returns must include:
- FireAvert Auto Stove Shutoff device
- Solenoid
- All Tubes and connectors
- MerryIoT Gateway Hub (and all associated cables/plugs)
Hardware Condition:
- All equipment must be functional
- Normal wear and tear is acceptable
- Damaged/non-functional equipment may result in a fee (see below)
